This is a huge 31-track album of heavy duty scratching and tweaking by serial wax killer Mix Master Mike, sometime DJ with the Beastie Boys. This album demonstrates an accomplished turntablist whose skills don't stop at cutting--his production on this CD is spot on. Layer upon layer of gut churning bass, obscure samples and Mike's own obsessive scratching are stitched together to create a surreal soundscape where warped grooves and sinister breaks lurk around every corner. After a perverted scratch intro, "Supa Wyde Laces" gives us the first lick of Mike's penchant for nasty bass. Other exceptional tracks include the aptly named "Well Wicked" and "All Pro" with its old skool breaks and sawn off kicks. The mixologist leaves the listener stunned with a stripped down finishing track "One Minute Massacre", as the man himself says, "competition, come and get some."--Mary Anna Wright
