　静けき森の中に、命と地球の息づかいが聞こえてくる。そうだ、地球は確かに生きているのだ。人間は、大いなる慈しみの腕に抱かれて生かされていることを感じさせる。

　　この究極のヒーリング・ミュージックとなった「Forest Rain」は、私の心を何よりも落ち着かせる。

　そういえば、同じ名前のCoffee　Shopが西海岸にあったことを思い出した。店内は森であり、BGMはまったくこの音楽であった。オドロキ感激したもんだ。

　夜、寝る前の独りの時間は、これに勝るものはない。
　ひとり仕事をする時に、これを聴きながらすると優しく電話にでてしまう。
　ショップの音楽に選んだが最後、もうそこは静かなる森の中。お客様は寝てしまうかもしれない。

　そんな、恐るべき一枚のCDを、あなたはすぐに買うべきである

とにかく楽しいアルバム。あまりにも有名な「サマー・サンバ」は、誰でも一度は聴いたことがあるはずですが、それ以外にもボサノヴァの名曲がズラリ。ワンダレイのノリの良い楽しいオルガンが楽しめます。

ボサノヴァ初期の名作・オスカル・カストロ・ネヴィス作の「君の悲しみを叫べ（＝お前の悲しみが泣く）」なども収録されていて、選曲もなかなか凝っています。
いつ、どこで聴いても楽しいオールラウンドなアルバムです。

ＶＥＲＶＥと言えばＪＡＺＺを思い浮かべると思いますが、このＲＡＩＮ　ＦＯＲＥＳＴはＢＲＡＺＩＬの自然が生み出すボサ・ノヴァが全面に漂う心地よいアルバムだと思います。繊細でいてときにラテンの力強さよさも感じられるオルガンのメロディーが全てに表われていおり、そこにフルートやトロンボーンの音がブレンドされいて、あまりの音の気持ちよさに全曲とうして聴いていても飽きのこない作品だと思います。音楽を聴いてリラックスをしたいという人にとっては打って付けの１枚ではないでしょうか。
