スコーピオンズ初期の名作である。現在の彼らからは想像出来ない陰鬱でへヴィな作風だが、メロディはさすがに素晴らしい。ウリ・ロートのギターが扇情的に炸裂し、クラウスは曲によってパワフルにシャウトしたり、悲しげに歌い上げたりと、幅が広い。また、「ロボット・マン」と「炎を求めて」は、キャッチーなハード・ポップで楽しく聴けるだろう。

捨て曲はないので星五つにしたいところだが、リマスター盤ではない。洋盤はリマスターされた音質のいいものが出ているので、国内盤でも出ればいいのだが。

ギターをつかみ、あえぐ美女。その傍らには蛇!なにかを連想させる挑発的なアルバムジャケットだな。このアルバムを聴いて一番驚いたのは、アルバムの顔とも言える1曲目に専任ヴォーカリストのクラウスマイネではなく、ウルリッヒロートの歌う曲をもってきたことだ。でもこのダークレディを聴けば、この掟破りのようなことも納得がいくだろう。とにかくいいんだ、これがまた!。ジミヘン大好きというだけあって、ジミヘン風のノイジィーなギターが暴れまくるハードロックナンバーだ。次のタイトルナンバーは、うってかわってしっとりと歌いあげるヘヴィーな曲だ。どことなく物悲しいメロディーにヘヴィーなサウンドがのる典型的な日本人好みの曲だと思う。次の曲も同じく物悲しいヘヴィーサウンド。と、こんな感じで日本人好みの暗く湿ったようなサウンドのアルバムです。ゆえにイントランスを最高傑作にあげるファンが多いのも納得がいくのではないでしょうか。

　３ｒｄアルバムですが、ドラム＆ベース以外にメンバー変更なし。
　ウリ（だと思う）のギターがより進化して、鳴いています。バンドのサウンドも全体的に厚みが出てきて良いですね。２ｎｄアルバムを良い形で踏襲した完成度の高いアルバムだと思います。
