   世界の飢饉（ききん）を救うべく、ロニー・ジェイムス・ディオの呼びかけで結成されたヘビーメタル連合ともいうべき作品。当時盛んだったスーパースター・チャリティー物に比べると売上は小さかったが、内容は遜色ない。アクセプト、モーターヘッド、ラッシュ、キッス、ディオ、Y&T、スコーピオンズが参加。さらには故ジミ・ヘンドリックスの演奏も聴ける。

The Heavy Metal Amalgamation that Answered the Call to Help Fight World Hunger Organized by Ronnie James Dio. It Didn't Raise as Much as Other Superstar Efforts, but Did Respectably Nonetheless. Contributions to the Album Come from Accept, Motorhead, Rush, Kiss, Dio, Y&t, the Scorpions and a Posthumous Performance Dredged Up from Jimi Hendrix.

5.0 out of 5 stars このＣＤが再発されるのを待っていました。, 2003/6/14
「ＷＥ　ＡＲＥ　ＴＨＥ　ＷＯＲＬＤ」の二番煎じ、という人も
いますが、ヘヴィメタルの一流ミュージシャン達がこれだけ集合した
プロジェクトというのは、恐らく後にも先にもないでしょう。
（今となっては全く名前を聞かない人もいますが・・・）
曲の良さもさる事ながら、一流ギタリスト達の競演がやはり

目玉になるでしょう。ただ、皆さんイングヴェイにあおられた
様で、早弾きにはしってしまっている人が多く、誰が弾いているのか
分からない部分が結構あります。（例によってアームを使いまくっている
ブラッド・ギルスはわかりやすいですが）
この時の模様が収録されたＤＶＤが発売されると良いのですが・・。

　昔、このレコードを買って今でも持っているのですが、今はもうＣＤ
プレイヤーしかなく考えた末、このＣＤを買ったのですが、買って良かった。久しぶりに聞いて鳥肌が立ちました。
　いい感じです！！

これ高校生の時必死で友達とスターズごっこしたもんです。
USA FOR AFRICAもカラオケで歌うとき物まねで歌いませんか？
STARSも当時からやってました（カラオケでないんですよね　笑）
ギターキッズだった僕はMTRにバックギターRECして彼ら一人一人のソロを必死でコピーしRECったもんです。今ではこういうAIDものないですよね。懐かしい！

しかしいまやったら新しいんじゃないですか？今生き残ってる（笑）ギタリストなるべく全員と最近の新鋭ギタリストたちでやってみたら？

DVDも出して欲しいですね。
