個人的には完成度は高い作品だと思う。CAN'T STOP〜は名曲だと思うしNOT ENOUGHも美しい曲だ。
もう少し作り詰めれば1984を越える名盤になっていただろう。
ジャケットが問題にもなった話題作である。

エディ・ヴァンへイレン。この男は本当に希有なギタリストだと思う。
彼による彼のための彼にしか弾く事のできないギターフレーズ。
ギターを少しでも触ったことのある人、そうでない人でも、彼の表現力と演奏力の特異にして異端さ、そして素晴らしさは理解できると思う。

特にこのバランスが、俺は最高のクオリティを誇る完成度に到達していると思うのだが・・。
サミーヘイガーが古巣に戻り、その歌唱力とエディの演奏力が見事にマッチして、実にアーティスティックな作品である部分を存分に垣間見せている。
とにかく、素晴らしいアルバム。ロックファンなら必須の一枚。

楽曲　音色　アレンジと3拍子揃った素晴らしい作品です。　1曲目の貫禄あるROCKに2曲目のどこでも誰でも受け入れそうなキャッチーな曲にピアノの重圧なサスティーンとこのバンドならではのコーラスも見事に決まるバラード、インストもカバーしたくなるような作品で、VHという世界を素晴らしい完成度で仕上げています。
どこでも聞きたくなる曲が満載のお勧め作品です。
