元オーネット・コールマン・バンドの変態ギタリストＪ.Ｂ.ウルマーとビル・ラズウェル、ＰーＦＵＮＫのバーニー・ウォーレル、そしてジガブー・モデリスト＠ミーターズというスーパージャズファンクグループ。ええ、もちろんバーニー＆ジガブーで買いました。95年作。

うねうねと地を這うようなグルーヴがとっても好き。Ｐ-ＦＵＮＫのクールファンクっぽさを感じます。
しかし、うねうねと這うだけなんだよね、時々は飛び上がって襲ってきて欲しいじゃん。そこがないと飽きる。一曲一曲はとても素晴らしい。

度々夢の競演を実現してくれるビル・ラズウェルには感謝だが、その作品の仕上がりが常に中途半端なのはいただけません。。ハーモロディック闘士ウルマーに、ミーターズのズレズレマスター、ジガブーと変態Pファンカー、バーニー・ウォレルという混みあわせは、ラズウェルなしでは実現しなかったものだろうが、ラズウェルが加わることで、内容がメンツから想像できる非常識なものではなく、ちょっとイビツなブルースロック程度に薄まっている。大半の曲を書き下ろし、ギターに歌に大活躍のウルマーの無尽蔵のパワーに4点。ラズウェルは、キャスティングしたら、スタジオを出る勇気を持て。
