アナログ音時代のタンジェリンが、いったい何があったのか、付き物が落ちたかのように放った、極めて明るくさわやかな、しかしシンセプログレの王道は押さえに押さえた快作。イントロから高まって、シーケンスのリズムが入ってくるあたりは、来た来た待ってました! これだよこれ! という鳥肌ものです。

こどもの情操教育にも好適なぐらいの明るさ、さわやかさです。
アナログシンセ、アナログシーケンサが大好き、でも今日は情念と実験のドロドロに漬かる気分じゃない、そんなときに最適の逸品です。

このタングラム２００８は、全７曲からなり、この商品ページの曲目リストは、従来盤のものだ。
この部分に間違いがあるので、曲目リストを下記に訂正しておくので、参考にされたい。

リメイク盤として「フェードラ２００５」が出た時、従来盤とはまるで別の曲の様になっているのに驚いたが、
このタングラム２００８は、それにも増して、従来盤とは別の曲だと感じる。

大きく異なる点は、２００８は、よりポップで、何と、メロディアスなのだ。
曲であるのに、メロディアスである事を強調するのも変だが、従来盤フェードラや従来盤タングラムは、そうとは言えない。
従来盤は、曲を進行させる和声すら不明瞭で、電気的な効果音の集合体の様な印象でもあった。

ところが、フェードラのリメイク盤２００５が、ポップでメロディアスに進化したのに驚いたが、
その傾向は、このタングラム２００８で、より明確になっている。
近年の「京都」などと、同様の路線だ。

つまり、より「曲」なのだ。

曲と呼ぶには、それを支配するメロディ、和声、リズムなどが必要だが、何と、従来盤には、それが不明瞭だった。
それが、タンジェリン・ドリームのドリームたる部分だったのだが、大きく生まれ変わっている。

私は、この、生まれ変わったドリームの方が好きだ。
また、プログレファンなら、誰にでも受け入れやすいものとなっている。

初めてタンジェリン・ドリームを聴かれる方には、このタングラム２００８か、フェードラ２００５をおすすめしたい。
音質も大変良く、価値ある一枚だ。

なぜ今ごろになって再発？しかも紙ジャケ仕様？
と頭の中が「なぜ？の嵐」になってしまう
ここ最近のTANGERINE DREAMのＣＤ再発事件！

１９６７年結成（オレと同じ生まれ年！）
メンバーチェンジを繰り返しながら現在は親子鷹で継続中。

しかし、よくよく見るとタイトルに「２００８」と。
何と当時の楽器を探し出し、新たな解釈を加えたリメイク録音盤なのだ！

いやいや、新録するまでもなく以前ので完成してますけど！
と思ったが、この「タングラム」は、「タングラムセットPart1&2」という１曲が１５分程度の２曲だけのアルバム。
レコードの時は片面に１曲で両面で２曲という仕様だったのに
このリメイク盤は曲数が７曲に増えている。
その謎を解明すべくタワレコで購入。
いつもタンジェリン・ドリームに冷たいタワレコが
再発ＣＤを大量入荷！こんなにタンジェリンのＣＤを店頭で見るのは初めてかもｗ

で、聴いてみると当時の楽器を探し出しただけあって
イントロから同じ音ｗ
しかし、パーカッションが加えられ少々ウルサイ感じに・・・

７曲の謎も、曲は繋がっているけどチャプターが打たれているだけだった。

オレは、このリメイク盤より元盤の方が好きだなｗ
