とても素人っぽいサウンドなのですが、忘れたころにふと聴きたくなるアルバムです。
実はピチカートのアルバムの中ではもっとも記憶に残る1枚かもしれません。
細野晴臣氏がベースを弾いてる『アクションペインティング』は隠れた初期の名曲で、
POPでポストパンクな小西さんの歌詞も、佐々木麻美子さんのキュートなボーカルも最高です。

ピチカート・ファイブ２代目のＣＤです。囁くような透き通った声と、パンチには欠けるけど何故か頭に残るメロディーが重なりあって良い感じです。この不思議な雰囲気がとても好きで、買った当初はこればっかり聴いていました。
