1st"memories~"より更に内省的になって、底無しの深さを湛えてます。David Sylvianと同種の深遠さ（と思っていたら、共通のトランペット奏者ジョン・ハッセルが参加していました）。その一方で曲の美しさもより強力になってます。メロとコーラスがこの上なく優しいM1・M10、切実な祈りの様なM3・M8、アコギと一人多重コーラスが心地良いM4・M6、、と全編唯一無二の世界が広がります。メロディの美しさ、アレンジの気持ち良さはこの盤が一番じゃないかな。聴く度にため息、音楽の深さを思い知らされる一枚。一生モノです。

他の方々が書かれている通り
確かに内省的・深遠という言葉がぴったり合います
しかし、このアルバムにあるのは絶望ではなくて希望であり
とてもピースフルなアルバムだと私は思います
暖かいのです

歌というものは話すことの延長なんだと改めて気がつきます。
前作の｢memories of a color｣と比べるとオーソドックスな音なので
今でも聴きやすいアルバムだとおもいます。前作はシンセサイザーの音が
少々古臭く感じてしまうから。
音自体はオーソドックスでも楽器の編成、効果音の使い方、歌詞の
フレージングはStinaという感じが濃厚にあらわれています。

｢Dynamaite｣とはまったく違った作風ですが、このアルバムこそがStinaでしょう。
