当時にしてはこの重たい音は画期的だったと思います。

他の方と似た意見になりますが、ドラッグでボロボロになっていたニッキーが立ち直ってリリースされた作品であるせいか、激しさの中にもすごく落ち着きが見られます。
KICKSTART MY HEARTのようにノリのいい曲からWITHOUTYOUのような美しいバラードまで幅広い。
モトリー最高です。

　今から数えると一昔前に発表されたアルバム。
　メンバーの中核ニッキーの薬物中毒によりバンド存続が危ぶまれたが、それを乗り越えての発表となった当作品。派手さのほかに落ち着きが見られるようになったと思う。
　「Dr,feelgood」「kickstart my heart」「without you」など多くがシングルカットされたが、一番の名曲は「time for change」。メタルバラードの真髄とも言えるこの曲は、バンドが困難を乗り越えて変わろうとする意思を感じる名曲。因みにB'zがぱくったといううわさもある。それほどいい。
