ええっとポップ寄りなプロダクションを薄味で採用してはいるが、決して妥協はしていない。逆にバランスよくポップな味付けをコントロールできている部分がすばらしい。演奏が充実しており、ゲーリーは気合い十分。ヒューズスロールさながらの世界が展開。ロックしてまっせ、ええええんちゃいますか~。１０点中８点

この作品にはヴォーカルとしてグレン・ヒューズが参加しています。個人的に好きなヴォーカリストの１人ですが、今は亡きフィル・リノットとの共演も見逃せません。
とても良い作品にも関わらず、現在国内盤は生産中止という状態。是非とも再発売を期待したいものです。

ＥＭＧらしきピックアップ＋フロイド・ローズにて当時の流行りの音作りになっていますが、他の方のレビューのとおり完成度はかなり高く、本人やＧ.ヒューズ、Ｐ.ライノットとヴォーカルが入り繰っていながらも全く散漫な印象がありません。
実は本作、お互いにフェイバリットギタリストに挙げているパット・スロールがＧ.ヒューズと作った唯一(2007年にセカンドが発売されるという噂！)の超傑作“ＨＵＧＨＥＳ／ＴＨＲＡＬＬ”を意識して作ったもので、特に１曲目は当該作品の１曲目をイメージして作ったそうです。Ｇ.ヒューズを迎えたり、ドラムも当該作品でＦ.バナリとともにスティックを握ったＧ.ファーガソンを迎えたりと、かなり露骨にそれが現れています。前述の音作りについても、考えてみれば当時のＰ.スロールを意識していた、弾き方もノーマルのストラトの頃より少しお上品(？)になっているのもそうだからかなという気がします。ブルーズ路線突入前のある意味でハードロックに拘った最後の作品、充実してます！
