やはり名盤であるこのアルバムを聴かないうちはHELLOWEENを語れないでしょう~。カイ・ハンセン、マイケル・キスク在籍時、別々に発売されたKEEPER OF THE SEVEN KEYS PART1、PART2が一つになり、さらに未発表曲3曲を追加した完全版。やっぱりこれを聴いてしまうとアンディ・デリスは歌えてないな~と思ってしまうし、当時からのファンにしてみれば最近のハロウィンは目も当てられないと思ってしまう気持ちも残念ながらよくわかる。正直、こんな素晴らしいジャーマンメタルが1986年頃レコーディングされていたなんて信じられない。もちろんどの曲もあまりにも有名だし今でもライブでプレイされているものも多いが、強いてオススメを挙げるとすれば、キーがとてつもなく高いI'm Alive、テーマ曲とも言えるHalloween、あらゆるモンスターを造る博士の話Dr.Stein、サビのドラムと伸びの良いメロが印象的なMarch Of Time、15分にも及ぶが飽きないKeeper Of The Seven Keys、そしてボーナストラックなのにシングルかと思ってしまうSavage。もしこれからハロウィンを聴こうとしてる人がいたら、最近のアルバムを聴くよりもまずはこの完全版を聴きなさい。実はあたしもこの守護神伝のPart1だけ最初持っていてPart2は聴いたことがなかったのだけど、後にPart2を聴いたときかなりの衝撃が走り、もっと早く聴いておけば良かったと後悔したものだ（笑）

しずかな空気音から序曲テーマがながれ一気につっぱしり最後に壮大な
曲で終わる一種の美学が完璧につくられてて聞くたびに感動とあのマイケルキスクの緩急つかいわけた美声にただただよいしれれることまちがいなし。世界一有名なジャーマンメタルバンドの最高傑作アルバムぜひメタル嫌いなかたにもきいてほしいです

まず、曲が素晴らしい。イントロからそれぞれ、Part1はI'm Alive、Part2はEagle fly freeと最高傑作オープニングチューンで幕をあける。これだけで買う価値がある。その他の曲もバライエティに跳んでいて、当時はこればっかり聞いていた時期があった。

もともと2枚組みで出たアルバムではないですが、バンドメンバーはもともと2枚組みで出したかったというエピソードもあるので、これから買う人はこの完全版のほうがいいのではないでしょうか。ボーナストラックも素晴らしいですからお得です。

やはりHelloweenはキスクの超ハイトーンがないと。
正直今のアンディはカイハンセンよりも下手になっているので・・・
