1995年に発売のアルバム。前作BEST盤「ROC'N SOUL Part-1」の最後の曲「Wait For Me」は武道館Ｌｉｖeで原曲に近いLiveだったが、このアルバムに入っている「Wait For Me」はしっとりと切なさたっぷり、大人のLIVEアレンジになり、先のLiveでも言っていた通り僕の好きな曲である 「WHat's Going on」はカバーであるが、本当に渋くかっこいい！
「So Close」もこのLiveアレンジの方が鳥肌が立つ程に、初めて聴いた時は感動したことを覚えている。「Me and Mrs.Jones」も彼らが好きな曲、Live音源であまり感動しない私も、Hall&Oatesだけは別。何処からそんなアドリブでありながら質の高い演奏が出来るのか？といつも感じてしまう程。　　ホント？と首を傾げるあなたもこのアルバムを聴いたら、絶対にHALL&OATESのLiveに行ってみたくなるはず！もうこのＬｉｖｅだけでも星5つです！！！

代表作「プライベートアイズ」なんて、
もう２５年つまり四半世紀前の曲ですが、
やっぱりいいものはいいですね。
イントロだけで、「あの頃」に戻してくれます。

高校生の皆さんへ
今はもう演歌しか聴かないお父さんへのプレゼントとして最高ではないでしょうか。

5.0 out of 5 stars 年を経るほどに彼らの経歴に逆行する！？, 2004/11/4
私がホール＆オーツを知ったのは「稀代なるポップ・アーティスト」として全米ヒットを連発していた80年代。このベスト・アルバムは時系列的に彼らのヒット曲を並べているが、曲で言うと、＃６~14の時代。彼らの創り出す楽曲は「ポップ・キャッチー・ダンサブル」で、出せば必ずヒットした。

しかし、時の流れと共にこのアルバムを何度も聴くうちに私の嗜好は「ダリルのソウルフルな歌唱力をじっくりと堪能できる」それ以前の作品に移っていった。特に哀愁を漂わせる＃１・３、ダリル本人の失恋がモチーフで、狂おしいまでに歌い上げられる＃５。（＃５は80年発表の「モダン・ボイス」からだが・・・。）また、軽やかに流れる＃10は一年余り悩んだ末に異性に初めて自分の恋心を告白した達成感（というか脱力感）の中で無意識のうちに頭を駆け巡っていた思い出深い曲。（その一週間後には「ふられた気持」という結果になるのだが・・・苦笑。）

かといって、＃６~14も今聴いても全く色褪せを感じることなく聴ける。要は全曲完成度が高く、素晴らしいものばかりなのだ。＃15・17・18のライヴ・バージョンもコンディション良し！
