　このアルバムで新曲のReal LoveやシンプルなAcross The Universeがきけます。特に中期のビートルズが好きなひとには必見のアルバムです。Tomorrow Never Knowsなどはある意味衝撃です。またそれぞれの曲の新たな魅力を見つけることができます。日本武道館ライブのテイクも入っていたりと内容もとても充実しています。買って損はないと思います。

ストロベリー・フィールズ・フォーエヴァーの「ジョンの自宅デモ」、「初期バージョン」、「ミックス違い」のどれもマスターバージョンをしのぐ美しさにはただただ感激。その他にもイエスタデイやトゥモロウ・ネヴァー・ノウズ、アクロス・ザ・ユニバースの初期バージョンなど、アンソロジー１、３、よりも断然必聴の価値あり！

時代ごとに３セット発売されたアンソロジーの中でもっとも充実したセット。曲作りにも演奏、アレンジにも円熟味を増したビートルズの別テイクが楽しめます、今不用意に「別テイク」と書いてしまったけれど、ただの演奏違いといったものではなく、キーやアレンジ、テンポなどまったく別物といえるものが多数収録されています。30年以上未発表だったことが惜しまれるほど、いやはやキラ星のごとく、曲が並んでいます。とりわけリボルバーとサージェントあたり（たとえばアンド・ユア・バード・キャン・シングやガット・トゥ・ゲット・ユー・イントゥ・マイ・ライフなどブートレグでも聞けなかった音源。あるいはよく知られていたが、ストロベリー・フィールズなど）は、既発表のものより味があって好きな人は多いのではないでしょうか。
