この作品は今でも彼らの最高傑作であると思う。とにかくファンが彼らに求めているものを100%提供してくれている作品はこれをおいて他にない。
スピード、アグレッション、ヘビー、3拍子そろった名盤である。この作品のレビューでカバー曲のことがよく取り上げられるが、
あくまでもこの作品において、おまけの存在でしかないんだけどなあ・・・。この1曲のためだけにこの作品を購入しようとか、一番いい曲だなんて思う方は、
彼らの音楽にはあまり縁がないんだと思うんだけどなあ。とにかくオープニングからガッツポーズ全開である。タイトルトラックなんて絶品！！
真のPRETTY MAIDSファンならこのアルバムを聴きこんでください。絶頂期の熱いあついアツイ曲があなたをきっと彼らのとりこにさせるだろう〜名盤だあ。

前作ではロジャーグローバーをプロデューサーに迎え綺麗にまとめた感があったが大きく飛躍出来ずメンバーの相次ぐ脱退から解散の危機に見舞われたが原点に立ち帰り自分たちが求め続けたい純粋な正統派路線をメタリカでお馴染みのフレミング・ラスムッセンをプロデューサーに具現化した傑作である。作り込まれずライブに近い音作りで一曲目からスピードチューンで始まりミドルチューンもプリティーメイズらしい哀愁を帯びたメロディーで３，５，７などもお勧め。ジョンサイクスのカバー（１１）を選んだセンスにも脱帽。

このバンドを始めて聴いたのは、前作のアルバムだった。
しかし、前作を聴いて思った印象はポップすぎるというよりも「なんとなく芯がぼやけてて生ぬるい」だった。
だから、最初にこのアルバムを聞く前は、かなり抵抗があった。しかし、聴いた途端に興奮しそれまでの印象はぶっ飛んでしまった。
「なんじゃ、こりゃーーーー！！！」
メロディアスでありながら、ヘンな甘ったるさもなく、なおかつハード。
確かに曲構成はよく聴くと似たり寄ったりだけど、それを差し引いても余りあるかっこよさ。ソロイスト的主張がないバンドらしいバンドサウンドが楽しめます。
最後に、あの有名な曲は皆さんいろいろ評価されているので、ちょっと置いときます。
