Valentineというバンド形態となって初めてのアルバム。2003年現在まで、Robby　Valentine名義で2枚を含め6枚のアルバムを発表しているが、個人的には曲調、アルバム全体のバランス、様々な点から見て最高傑作だと思う。

ｸｲｰﾝﾁﾙﾄﾞﾚﾝを自他共に認められている彼だが、特に初期のオペラ座の頃のｸｲｰﾝを更にｴﾚｶﾞﾝﾄにしたような曲がアルバム全体にちりばめられている。
特にこのアルバムはオペラ座のようなコミカルな曲、重厚な曲といった様々なカラーを持つ曲が収められており、しかしそれらが喧嘩することなく、大変バランスよく纏められている。

個人的には　ピアニスト・ロビーバレンタインが好きなので、その点からもこのアルバムが一番好きな理由でもある。
ｸｲｰﾝII、オペラ座の頃のｸｲｰﾝが大好きという方には、是非ともお勧めしたい一枚である

My人生を変えたアーティストの一人。

オランダの貴公子、ロビー・ヴァレンタインによる１STフル。Vo、Gt、Ba、Keyなどを一人でこなすマルチプレイヤーでもある。
そんな彼を一言で言うならば、ずばり「天才」。
完璧に練り上げられた楽曲には、「天才」の二文字がよく似合う。

彼のアルバムは、よくブックオフなどのCD屋で500円前後で並んでいるのを目にするが、中身は3000円だしてもお釣りがくるほど素晴らしいもの。
特にそのメロディの充実度・楽曲の完成度の高さはハンパではない。
そのメロディは美麗・流麗極まりない、日本人の感性をビシバシ刺激する極上品。
しかも一切捨て曲なし！

キーボード主体の壮麗な楽曲、クイーン譲りの大仰な展開、分厚いコーラス、全てがグレート。
若干Voの線が細く、好みが別れるかもしれないが、これがまた楽曲のセンチメンタリズムを増幅させており、少女漫画ばりのドラマティックさに拍車をかけている。

メロディ重視、ドラマ大好き、Xのバラード好き、クイーンのファン、以上の言葉にピンと来た方はゼヒ。

彼のアルバムはどれも名盤なので、見つけたらすぐに購入をオススメします。
特に３rd「VALENTINE」、４th「UNITED」がオススメです（^^）
