   沖野修也・好洋の兄弟DJ2人組ユニット、KYOTO JAZZ MASSIVEが94年に出した1stアルバム。MONDO GROSSO、B-BANDJ、DJ KRUSH、BIG WRONGらが曲ごとに参加している。ハウス・ビートとボサノヴァやサンバを融合させたり、ヒップホップにジャズのエッセンスを取り入れたり、民族音楽をクラブ仕立てにするなど、アシッド・ジャズの発展形というべき多様な試みを、徹底して洗練されたセンスで示した作品だ。終始クールでスタイリッシュな音を貫いているのが彼らの身上だろう。80年代後半からイギリスのクラブ・シーンに身を置いてきた2人だからこそ成し得た、クラブ・ジャズの傑作。（小山 守）

初めてこのCDを聞いたのは、高校生の時でした。姉が貸してくれて…。

凄い衝撃を受けましたよ！カッコ良すぎです。ずっとダビングしてもらったテープ、次にMDで過ごしてましたが、最近ようやくCDを手にいれました。ずっと、飽きること無く聞いてるCDです。何年たっても何回聞いても、かっこいいってすごいでしょ！ホント、お勧めです。クラブジャズ好きな人は勿論、そうでない人も（？）気に入るんじゃないかな。

これを聴いた時の鳥肌感は忘れられません。こんなに洗練されてて、しかもソウルフルな音楽があることを教えてくれた私の秘蔵版です。ソウル／ジャズ／ハウス／ヒップホップどれかが好きな人は聴いてほしい。新しいジャンルがあなたのリストに加わるはずです。

京都JAZZのファーストです。
でた、当時ものすごく衝撃的だった記憶があります。
クラブジャズとか、フロアミュージック全体が注目を浴びたはじめた
ころに、フロアだけでなく、リスニングしても楽しめるアルバム
というコンセプトがすばらしくて、新しい走りでした。

不朽の名作ですね~
