2000万枚近く売り上げたボン・ジョヴィ最大のヒット作。全ての曲に勢いがあり文句のつけどころがない。これを聞かずしてボン・ジョヴィは語れない。

日本を中心に人気の有ったバンドが、世界的成功を収めた出世作。

どの曲もライブで受けそうなノリの良い曲ばかりで、捨て曲無しのクオリティの高さです。アルバムを知らなくても、「Livin' on a Prayer」や、「You Give Love a Bad Name」を耳にした事がある方は多いのではないでしょうか。

Jon Bon Joviばかりにスポットライトが当たっていますが、「Let It Rock」イントロのデヴィッド・ブライアンによる壮大なキーボードソロや、「Livin' on a Prayer」での構成力豊かなリッチー・サンボラのギターソロ等、他のメンバーの音楽的センスも非常に高いと思います。
