本作品は８０年代に大活躍していた彼の手がけた作品のおいしいとこだけを取り上げており、彼の魅力を知るには最適ではないかと思います。得意のバラード、彼独特のリズムアレンジで跳ねたナンバー、キーボードプレイヤーとしてもセンスの光る音使いが華麗なナンバーなど、さらにそれがヒットチャートを賑わしたオリジナル曲を中心に構成されているので、飽きることなく聴けるイイ作品です。その中で私が注目した曲は「アフター・ザ・ラブ・ハズ・ゴ-ン」。オリジナルはアース・ウインド＆ファイアが最初で後にエアプレイでもリメイクされている曲ですが、本作品ではケニ-Ｇのソプラノサックスがフューチャーされたインスト曲にリメイクされていて、これが私にとって味があり、また癒され、さらにしみじみと心に染み入るアレンジワークがされていて、非常に心地よく聴けました。これだけでもこの作品を手にした価値があると私は思っています。全体的には彼の色が濃く出ているナンバーばかりですのでデビットフォスターに興味ある方へおススメしたい作品です。

兄が車の中で聞いていたんだけど、私も欲しくなったので買いました。
入っている曲、全部goodです。
３０代~４０代の方には耳障りの良い、懐かしい曲だと思います。
私は70年代・80年代の曲が好きなのですが、これもかなり気に入りました♪

私が大好きな曲「Winter　Games」。

私が彼の曲を聴いた時は1988年冬季オリンピックカルガリー大会の開会式の時。この曲は今でも初めて聴いた時のように頭の中で繰り返し流れている。
カルガリー大会なんてもうほとんどの人は覚えていないだろう。
しかし、私はこの冬季五輪が初めて見た冬季五輪なので今でも覚えている。

だからこのテーマ曲は一生忘れる事ができない。
