マイケル・マクドナルド風の1曲目のイントロを聞けば当時の洋楽ファンなら、聞き覚えがあると思います（全米6位）。
でも単なる一発屋ではなく、アルバム全体が良いのです！
R&Bベースのちょっとハスキーな声、爽やかだけど少し切ないメロディ分厚いコーラス隊、まさにウェストコースト・サウンドでした。

デビット・フォスター＆ビル・チャンプリンが共作した7曲目は切ないバラードで、胸が締め付けられます。
天気の良い海岸沿いの道を走る時は、気持ち良いですよ！

この時代多くのAORが世に出ました。しかしこのアルバムほどperfectなものはありません。全ての曲が良すぎるほど良いのです。
ロビーの若くて甘く優しい声はスローから、アップテンポなものまで心が癒され、胸の奥そこに深く刻み込まれます。
これほどにまで感動はありません。

サウンドメイクはずばりＡＯＲ時期（マイケルマクドナルドが中心の時期）のドゥービーブラザースサウンドまんま。言い換えるなら「ブルーアイドソウル」と言ってもよい。ブルーアイドソウルを基盤に分厚いコーラス（ビーチボーイズライクなもの）をトッピングして洗練された軽目のリズム隊をからませる戦術。この目論見は見事功をそうしてトップ１０ヒットが生まれた。弾むようなキーボードリフにさわやかなコーラス、メローでレイドバックしたリードボーカルがからみ高い快適度数を実現。たとえば、アンブロージア、マイケルマクドナルド期のドゥービー、ソロになった初期のマイケルマクドナルド、ＪＤサウザー、クリストファークロス、ビルラバウンティー、ペイジズ、パブロクルーズ、デビッドパックのソロ、リトルリバーバンド、プレイヤーなどが好きな人には合うかも。（９点）
