　THE BEATLES、THE WHO、THE KINKSといったオリジネイター達を起点とし、今日まで脈々と受け継がれて来たブリティッシュ・ポップ/ロックの新たな継承者たる資格を持つバンドとして、'93年にデビューするや否やSTONE ROSES、LA'S、BLUR、OASIS等と並び称され、その将来が嘱望された「DODGY」の2ndアルバム。前作をプロデュースしたTHE LIGHTNING SEEDSのイアン・ブロウディが手がけているのは3曲のみで、残りは全てエコー＆ザ・バニーメンなどの仕事で知られるベテラン・プロデューサー、ヒュー・ジョーンズが手がけており、前作よりもさらに多彩になったアレンジメントと厚みを増したTHE BEATLESチックなコーラス・ワークを存分に楽しめる。60年代THE WHOから初期THE JAMの流れを踏襲しつつも、新しい時代のダイナミズムを孕んだ超ポップでキラキラ光り輝く珠玉のメロディーとサウンドが、これでもかといわんばかりに炸裂するブリット・ポップの好盤だ。

1994年（Blurの「Parklife」もこの年）にリリースした傑作2nd。ブリティッシュビートバンドのエッセンスを凝縮した、捨て曲なしのアルバムである。ビートルズ直系のメロディ、分厚いコーラス、効果的なホーンが随所に盛り込まれている。track1「Staying Out For The Summer 」、track2「Melodies Haunt You」、track3「So Let Me Go Far」の流れが素晴らしい。track8「Making The Most Of」も必聴。解散が惜しまれる。

英国テイストを色濃く発散するバンドである。ジャケの色のようにアウトドア-でのんびり聴きたいアルバムである。聴いているあなたは雲と共にどこか違う世界にいるはず。ライバルに差をつける一枚なのである。甘酸っぱさ加減が微妙に出ていてまるでイチゴ大福みたいです。
