初のセルフプロデュースアルバム「NUDE」をタイトル通り再構築したリミックスアルバムです。原曲の良さを残して作り直された感じが◎です。
中にはオリジナルをエクステンドしただけの印象のものも数曲ありますが、質の高い楽曲を長時間楽しめるので、私は好きです。

オープニングに持ってきた1「Come home with me baby」は力の入ったリミックスで、ベースに既発12インチ「dead house dub」のサウンドコラージュを敷き、そこへラテンフレイバーもミックスした遊び心満点のチューン。7の同タイトルトラックは、8cm Sg.にてリリースされたジェイ・バーネットによる12インチで、過剰なほどに派手でハードなリミックスです。
他にもスピード感を増した3「Stop kicking my heart around」や6「Turn around and count 2 ten」などがオススメ。「NUDE」を聴き込めば聴き込むほど、周到にリミックスされたこのアルバムの良さが際立ちます。

８０年代に流行したDead or Alive　　
流行当時は自然に耳に入ってくる程度で、ノリのいいディスコミュージックという認識しかなかった。
Dead or Aliveの一番印象的なシーンはTV番組の「夜のヒットスタジオDX」で、「Turn　Around And Count 2 Ten」を歌ったときのこと。
今ならこのようなジャケットは珍しくもないが、その当時はボーカルのPeteの怪しさにびっくりしたものである。
イギリスではこのジャケットでは発売できないと揉めたそうである。
今になって無性に聞きたくなり、購入した次第。「Turn Alroud・・」の入っているCDの中でこのCDを選んだのは、ジャケットのPeteの美しさを手にとって見たかったから。
このCDはアルバム「NUDE」のリミックス版ということです。オリジナルと比べてないのでどちらがいいかはわかりませんが、もう製造されていないので、出品者さんの多いリミックス版を購入しました。
No.６とNo７はおすすめの２曲。８０年代のディスコサウンドを懐かしいと思う方には推薦できる一枚です。
日英の歌詞カードが付いてます。
このCDを購入した後、インポートの「NUDE」も購入しました（こちらは３曲プラスされてます）
「REMADE・・」版の方がよりディスコで流れていた雰囲気です。
ただ、好みもあると思います。いろいろなバージョンがあるので、インポートを含めて検討する方がいいと思います。
