ジョージィ・フェイムのモッド期のベスト盤。一曲目の「イェイェ」からモータウンやノーザン・ソウルのカバー曲まで、、、ジョージィ自らシークエンスしているとあって、演奏はもちろん、選曲が素晴らしい！グルービィ・オルガンにあのシャガレ声（笑）もうでっかい音で踊るしかありません！！

アナログ時代から定番の編集盤ですがそろそろEMI時代のしっかりした編集盤を出すべきではないでしょうか。このCDの内容には文句ありませんがこれでは彼の本当の良さの一面しかわかりません。そもそも1stの「R&B from FLAMINGO」が現在聴けないというのが解せません。「レコード・ジャケットは知ってるけど聴いた事無い」という方が多いと思うので発売すればソコソコ売れると思いますが・・・

１０年程前、周囲のMOD達の影響で６０年代の音を聴いていた頃、鼻が詰まったような甘ったるい声が気になって余り好まなかったが、久し振りに聴いてみると懐かしさいっぱい。レーベルの都合（？）でファーストアルバムからの選曲がないのは残念だが、このジャジーなR&B、とりあえず買いでしょう。
