ビ・バップ・デラックスの '76 の 3rd。邦題は「炎の世界」。当時はこのジャケットのため買うのには勇気がいりました（カントリー・ライフは勇気が無く米盤にしましたが、、、）。CD のライナーにはジャケットの別ポーズの写真もありますので、、、、

このアルバムからキーボードに Andrew Clark が加わり、解散まで最強のラインナップとなります。キーボードが音が厚くなりましたが、ところどころでビル・ネルソンの熱いギターが切り込んでくるのは爽快です。

このアルバムは、流れるようなメロディアスな曲からハードな曲までバラエティに富んでいるのと、ライヴやベストに収録されている曲（有名曲）が多いので、最初に聞く１枚としてはおすすめです。

ここからやや曲調が難解になってきます。けだるさも含めた曲、次から次へとすさまじく転調する曲等…曲によってはプログレッシブロック的なものもあります。
