5.0 out of 5 stars ジェリー・ベックリーが頑張った傑作, 2006/1/20
75年発表。もちろんジョージ・マーティンのプロデュース。
中期の佳作として評価されてますが、個人的には傑作だと思う1枚です。
ここからはジェリー・ベックリー作の「金色の髪の少女」が見事全米1位。
ほかにも「ひなぎくのジェーン」「ウーマン・トゥナイト」もトップ20入り。
特に「ひなぎくのジェーン」のメロディは極上で、これもジェリー作。
アメリカのすごいところはデューイ・バネル、ダン・ピークと、メンバー
全員が優れたソングライターであった点で、全員トップ10ヒットを持っています。
このアルバムは、3人のバランスが最も安定し、セールス的にも良かった最後の作品なので、いわゆるアメリカのイメージを裏切らない点でも安心して聞ける1枚です。
