いわゆる80年代のポップなダンスサウンドなのですが、当時の他のアーティストのように過剰に色んな音をのせているものではなく、シンプルだけど絶妙なアレンジでツボにはまった音の使い方をしています。それがとても心地よく、また、曲がどれも秀逸で1枚を通してスムーズな流れができあがり、素晴らしいです。まさに「トンプソン・ツインズの心臓」とも言うべき傑作だと思います。このアルバムの匂いは、後につづく爆発的ヒットアルバムの根底に引き継がれています。

4.0 out of 5 stars 聴けば聴くほど味の出てくるアルバムです, 2002/5/19
これは、トンプソンツインズの大ヒットとなる”ホールド・ミー･ナウ”の一作前のアルバムで、あまり高い評価は得ていませんが、10回、30回、と聴くうちに味が出てくるアルバム、だと私は思います。
個人的にはシングルカットされていない”イフ・ユー・ワー・ヒア”(If you were here―もしもあなたがここにいたら、という意味です)が一番好きです。
"Love on Your Side","Lies","We Are Detectives"も本来のトンプソンツインズの個性が良く出ている楽曲だと思います。
また邦題”神風”は原題もそのまま"Kamikaze","Lies"も”日本を意識して作った曲”だそうです。（どちらかというと”中国的”？という感じがしないでもないのですが）
トンプソンツインズのファンの方なら必聴の一枚です！

21世紀の今聞いたらテンポも思ったほど飛ばしておらず、ビートも抜けるように軽く…
ひたすら80年代ディスコ音楽、といった印象の一枚ですが
次にヒットを飛ばすトンプソン・ツインズの萌芽は既にあちこちに見て取れます。

トム・ベイリーの意外とねちっこい声や可愛らしい＆楽しいコーラス，
楽曲の細かいアレンジを楽しんでください。
