彼らのベストアルバムといえば
「First Harvest: The Best of Alphaville 1984-1992」があるが、
こちらは８８年のシングルバージョンやリミックスを収録している。
これは意外と知られていないのでは。

１曲目の「Forever Young」は、
オリジナルバージョンではなく、「ダンスバージョン」を収録している。
かなり出来の良いリミックスで、このアルバムでしか聞けない。
Forever Youngに魅了されているファンには是非おススメ。
間違いなく、もう一度感動すること間違いなし！！

最近よく、TVCMやドラマ主題歌、挿入歌等で使われる80年代のミュージック。中でもダンス系にいたっては知らずうちに口ずさんだり、ステップを踏んだり。この Dance With Me もお気に入りの定番曲です。メリハリあるサウンド、シンプルなメロディライン。古き良き80年代を代表するダンス・クラシックスなのだ〜

８０年代、結構洋楽ＰＯＰＳは聴きあさっていた。その時車のラジオで耳にした曲、フレーズしか頭に残っておらず曲名／歌手判らずじまい。
それが、懐かしさのあまり最近かったユーロビートのｎｏｎ-ｓｔｏｐの１曲として発見、アルバム版が欲しくてこれを買いました。

この曲そのものは懐かしさもあり良いです。（ｄａｎｃｅ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｍｅ）軽いｐｏｐｓで、ａ-ｈａとｇｉオレンジを足した様な感じがします。収録曲は全体的に同じ感じがしますが、まあ良しとしています。
（何せ、ｄａｎｃｅ　ｗｉｔｈ　ｍｅは他で手に入らない）
