5.0 out of 5 stars ハチャトゥリアンを存分に楽しめる, 2005/2/28
ハチャトゥリアンといえば「剣の舞」しか思いつかないという人はクラシック通でも結構多い。しかし、他にも魅力的な曲は多く、3つの交響曲、3つの協奏曲、「仮面舞踏会」などが傑作としてあげられる。この中の半分以上が収録されているこのＣＤは「ベスト盤」のようなもので、とてもお得だと思う。これを1枚もっていればハチャトゥリアンの音楽を十分聞くことが出来るいいＣＤだ。

アラム・イリイチ・ハチャトゥリアン（Aram Il'yich Khachaturian 1903-1978）はアルメニア人の作曲家で、ソ連で活躍した。バレー音楽「ガイーヌ」や「スパルタクス」が有名だが、この2枚組のアルバムにはこれらと別の魅力の横溢する作品が収められている。収録内容を記しておく。
1) ピアノ協奏曲　ラローチャ(p)　フリューベック・デ・ブルゴス指揮　ロンドンフィル <72>
2) ヴァイオリン協奏曲　リッチ(vn)　フィーストゥラーリ指揮　ロンドンフィル <56>
3) 組曲「仮面舞踏会」　ブラック指揮　ロンドン交響楽団 <77>
4) 交響曲第2番　ハチャトゥリアン指揮　ウィーンフィル <62>

いずれもアルメニアをはじめカフカス、中央アジアなどの非ヨーロッパ民族の民俗音楽を素材としたリズム感にあふれた生命力に富む作品だ。「交響曲第2番」はたいへん充実した代表作で、作曲者自身がウィーンフィルを指揮して録音した当盤はまさしく貴重。（ただやや音の割れる部分があるのが残念）。白熱したリズムが炸裂する第1楽章、グレゴリオ聖歌のテーマの転用のある第3楽章が特に親しみやすい。「ピアノ協奏曲」はラローチャのラテン的感性が冴える。第2楽章に用いられるフレクサトーンという楽器の音色も印象的。ヴァイオリン協奏曲は56年の録音だが思いのほか音が良好。1918年生まれの名ヴァイオリニスト、ルッジェーロ・リッチ（Ruggiero Ricci）の演奏というのもポイントが高い。組曲「仮面舞踏会」はコダーイやバルトークにも通じる白熱した歌が魅力。・・・それにしてもハチャトゥリアンの作品、もっともっと多くの録音があってもいいと思うのだが。デュトワあたりがフレッシュな録音をしてくれたらどんなに魅力的だろう！
