現代音楽家の作曲家マイケル・ナイマンが、古の詩人達の詩に美しい旋律をつけ、それを女優ウテ・レンパーが唱う。

選ばれた詩人達は、パウル・ツェラン、シェークスピア、モーツアルト、ランボー。

美しい旋律は、詩の情感を殺さず、感情を巧みに盛り上げる。ちょうど朗読と音楽の中間のような不思議な雰囲気が漂う。とはいっても語学力の不足で、よく聞き取れないんですが、いい雰囲気。漂うようなポエジーな世界につかの間浸れます。いい気分。

思えば、マイケル・ナイマンは”ピアノ・レッスン”と、この頃が全盛期だったよな〜。
