~回想~初めて針を降ろした日~
「ウォール・ストリート・シャッフル」でズッキュ~ンと打ち抜かれ、
Ａ面最後の「時計じかけのクリープ」まで、ディズニーランドの
アトラクションに興じているようにアッという間に心地よい眩暈。
クラクラしながら盤を裏返し、再びＢ面に針を落とす。
「シリー・ラブ」でまたまたヒートアップ！とてもキャッチーな
「踊ろうサクロイリアクを」を経てエンディングの
「オー・エフェンディ」~~~
********************初めて聴いてから、もう３０年が経つ・・・。
なんてこったい！
☆★☆心を燃やす音楽は、永遠なんだネ！
****************************************当時出ていた
「１００ｃｃ」っていうベスト盤でしか聴けなかった３曲がオマケで
ついている。

７４年発表の２ｎｄ。デビュー作よりいきなり３年もの歳月がかかった作品であり、前作にあったレトロ・ポップ的な作風は後退し、ストレートなハード・ロックとゴドレイ/クレーム組による実験的な要素が全面に出てきている。
１．は１０ｃｃとしては珍しいストレートなハード・ロックの佳曲。代表曲の一つであり、前作とは違った方向性を出した本アルバムのハイライト的な曲。途中に登場するメロトロンが場面展開として効果的に使われている。３．では過大なエフェクト音の後に１ｓｔにあったようなレトロ・ポップ的な曲に展開する曲であり、後の作品を考えるとちょっと未消化な気がするものの、その点がかえっておもしろい曲である。４．は次作を彷佛とさせるコーラス (・・・のように聞こえるのは一部はギズモによるものらしいが・・・) が美しい佳曲。５．は後の「アイム・マンデー」で再利用される曲。６．はビーチボーイズっぽい曲だが、ハード・ポップとでも言うべき分厚いギターが印象的。
楽曲はかなりバラエティに富んでおり、様々なアイディアをどんどん骨肉化していった印象を受ける。彼らの作品としてはやや散漫だが、まだまだフレッシュな雰囲気が漂っており、まとまりが薄いだけにおもしろい作品だと思う。
