一番大好きなバンドの大好きなアルバムです。
疾走感があり、ポップで、どこか切なく心にしみてきます。
2曲目のRed&Blue Jeansの畳み掛けるようなメロディーは聴き込めば聴き込むほどにその凄さ(スケールの大きさ)に気づかされます。
アルバム全体も一曲一曲も、静と動、緩と急のつけ方が実に巧みです。
PROMISE RINGのアルバム全体にいえることですが、聴けば聴くほどその良さがわかってきます。
このアルバムとVERY EMERGENCYは本当にすごいアルバムだと思います。

ジャケ買いできるくら、ジャケットがタイプでした。
中身の内容は、前作よりメロディーが入りやすくなっている。当時エモコアなんて言われ方をしていましたが。そんな言葉はシカトして聞いてください。

パンクっぽいアプローチはもちろんの事、今いるバンドでは、絶対こんな青さを出すのは不可能だと断言したい。

10代の君のマスターピースです。

プロミスリングの2ndアルバムです。サウンドの方も1st「30°Everywhere」のエモっぽさと、3rd「Very Emergency」のポップさの、ちょうど中間に当たるような感じです。この塩梅が好きなんですよねー。同一フレーズを反復するタイプの曲が多く、明るさの中の切なさと言いますか、爽やかで元気なメロディーでも、何度も繰り返されると段々と切なくなってしまう、という感じです。静かな曲も数曲あって、こちらもバッチリ。初めて出会ったのがこのアルバムなんで、一番思い入れがあります。もう7、8年経ちますが「Pink Chimneys」のベースラインが未だにこびり付いてます。
