オールマンズの作品の中でもディッキー・ベッツ色が強く出たアルバムです。ディッキーの曲の良さに惹かれる私としては大いに満足しています。デュエイン亡き後のオールマンズは元来ディッキーの軽快な明るさと、グレッグの重さのバランスの上に成り立ってきていますが、Win, Lose or Drawといいこのアルバムといい、ディッキーの爽やかさが前面に出ており、大変爽快なアルバムとなっています。蛇足ながらディッキー＝カントリー、グレッグ＝ブルーズというステレオタイプは当てはまりません。ディッキーの中にはその両者が混在しているのです。
P.S,ディッキーは残念ながらその後、FAX一本の連絡でオールマンズを解雇されてしまいました。

バラエティーなアルバムに仕上がっている。往年のファンには物足りないかもしれないが、だがしかしそこはさすがにオールマンブラザーズバンド。軽快なリズムでもどこかでしっかりブルースしてるのがイイ。ドライブのお供にオススメ。

ALLMAN作品の中においては、やや評価の低い本作（1979年リリース）であるが、
ALLMAN黄金期を支えたCAPRICORNからのリリースでもあり、決して出来が悪いわけではない。

というか、
「このアルバム聴きながら、ジープの幌全部開けっぴろげにして、
海岸線でもぶっ飛ばしたら、もう最高！」
ってのが自分の中でのアメリカン・ロックの定義であり、
その意味ではケチのつけようがない作品です。
重箱の隅つつくような聴き方は、こういうバンドにはふさわしくない。

ベッツの楽曲が多く、スライドギターは相変わらずかっこいい。

ただねえ・・・ジャケットはもうちょっと考えるべきかなあ。
これじゃあ廉価盤のベストみたいですよ。
