1枚目と2枚目がカップリングされたもの。発売時はLP2枚組であったがCDでは1枚となりお得度が増した。それぞれを買っても別にアウトテイクなどがボーナストラックで収録されているわけでないから、こだわりのあるファン以外はこれを聴けばよい。フィルモア・イースト・ライヴで彼らに痺れたならここに入っている原曲を聴いて欲しい。

このアルバムは、オールマンのファーストとセカンドをそっくりそのままカップリングしたお得な１枚（併せて６５分程度）です。スピード感あるノリノリの演奏に一気に聴けてしまうパワーが感じられます。しかも、今でもライブでよく演奏される曲ばかりが、もうこの時期にあったのかと感心するほどの曲ばかりが収められており、粒ぞろいの好盤です。ファーストとセカンドを別々に買うより、お得な１枚です。
このアルバムでは、フィルモアで化ける前のオーマンが聴けます。デュアンの「僕達はライブは凄いんだが、スタジオは・・」と言っていたように、フィルモアほどの緊張感や感動はありません。またグレッグのヴォーカルには、若さ、青さを感じてしまうご愛嬌の１枚なのです。
