ファーストと基本的には同じ路線です。
前作でも恋についての歌はあったけれども、
Sad songs and waltzesの恨み節は凄い！
長渕剛の巡恋歌の男版！ってなくらい。
「お前、どんな女に惚れたのよ？」
と、話を聞いてあげたくなる。

相変わらずのドライな音質と、独特のユーモア。
「かっこいい！」
と言うよりは、
「憎めないんだよね、こいつら…」
と言う感じのよさ。

普段部屋のBGMとしてかけておくアルバムの中に有ってもいい１枚。

　バンド自体やアルバム全体に漂う何とも言えない安っぽくて、如何わしい感じ（もちろんいい意味で）は、不思議とどんな部屋にもよく合う。というより、このCDをかけることで普段は見えない自室の安っぽさや如何わしさがより強調されると言った方が正しいのか？（世辞にもいいとは言えない）

　ともあれ曲の方はというと、出だしのかっこよさが光る１曲目＜FRANK　SINATRA＞、疾走感のある２曲目＜THE　DISTANCE＞、不思議な曲調が耳に残る５曲目＜DARIA>に加え、有名曲のカバーなど実に多彩で捨て曲なしの１４曲。買って損はしないと思いますよ。ほかのアルバムもいいけど、個人的にはこのメジャーデビューアルバムが一番いいと思う。荒削りな感!じが特に。

間の取り方がたまらない。天才としかいいようのない曲ばかり。すばらしくひねくれたポップセンスできくほどにハマります。distance,I will survive,sticksift and safetybeltがおすすめ。
