１９７５年リリースのアメリカンハードロックバンド・フォガットの６作目・・・サウンドが泥臭い印象がある為日本での人気はありませんが、理屈抜きでロックのかっこよさを持っているバンド！！（アメリカンハードロックバンドとは言え、基本的にイギリスのバンド・・・笑）このバンドの魅力はとにかく豪快なノリ一発のハードブギーサウンド・・・とにかくかっこいい（曲のムラはありますが・・・）！！１曲目「フールフォーザシティ」は文句なしにその象徴・・・キャッチーな要素を含んだ名曲！！３曲目「スロウライド」は、ＬＩＶＥではますます破壊力を増す８分にわたる彼らの代表曲！！！！ステイタスクォー・ＡＣ／ＤＣと言ったバンドと、本質は同じロックのカッコよさを無条件で体現しているＧＲＥＡＴなバンドです！！フォガット入門はこれか「ＬＩＶＥ」です・・・必聴の１枚！！

この５枚目からオリジナル・ベーシストが脱退し、前作でもプロデュース＆アレンジを担当したニック・ジェイムソンがベースも兼任してます。この人はトッド・ラングレン系列の人ということで、アメリカナイズされたポップ化が進み２曲のシングルヒットが生まれました。タイトル・チューンと「ＳＬＯＷ・ＲＩＤＥ」です。しかしながらこの２曲が絶妙なコントラストとなり、５曲目のロバート・ジョンソンのカバーであるカントリー・ブルースの「テラプレーン・ブルース」でフォガット節が期待どおりに大爆発です。フォガットを聞くならこの作品と７作目の「ＬＩＶＥ」は外せません！
ＳＡＣＤのハイブリッド・ディスクですが、マルチチャンネルではないのでＳＡＣＤの音質は期待はずれかもしれません。またＣＤの音質も国内盤紙ジャケ仕様「Ｋ２ＨＤマスタリング」の方が音圧・ダイナミックレンジ・音域など全ての面で残念ながら上回ってます！
