ソロ１０作目ということもあるんでしょうが、個人的にはこのアルバムがToddの作品の中でも最も完成度が高いと思っています。レコードではＡ面にあたるHideaway~There goes your babyの４曲は素晴らしいの一言。
　Something/Anything?から１０年を経て、さらに円熟味を増したToddのサウンドを味わえると思いますよ。

基本的に一人多重録音で製作していて、魔術師らしい枠にはまらない多彩な音楽性とポップなセンスが同居していて、彼らしい佳作である。

彼のソウル系のメロディセンス爆発の名曲trk1と3はベストには必ず入れたい！　またスティーヴ・マリオットへのトリビュートともいえる「Tin Soldier」のカバーや、当時シングルヒットしたtrk7と、どの曲も魅力的で飽きが来ない。

８２年発表のベアーズビルでの最後となる１１作目。その昔、このアルバムを初めて聴い時、確かに？？？の印象を持ったと思った。でも今ではおそらくトッドの作品で一番好きなのはコレだと思う。ポップな音楽ではあるのだけど決して甘くなくダレてもいない。臭い表現を使えばホロ苦い奴ってことになるのでしょう。シンプルで研ぎすまされたサウンドは従来のトッドのサウンドとも一味違い、特に前作から引き継ぐドラム・サウンドはエレ・ドラとも生のドラムとも言えない独特の音色とパターンが得も言われぬ魅力を醸し出していると思う。ジャケットのトッドの服装からか、私の持っているＣＤの解説にはやたらと６０年代の文字が出てくるんだけど、そんな古臭い音ではなく何とも近未来的なまさに“モダン”な感触。タイトルに偽りなしな作品です。スモール・フェイセスのカヴァー５．は涙もの。
