1989年発売。題名こそ『Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe』となっているが中身ははっきり行って最近のYESのアルバムよりずっと『YES』なアルバムになっていて満足度が高い作品になっている（●＾o＾●）。ここにないのはクリス・スクワイアのリッケンバッカーだけで残りはすべてあると言い切れる。

得意の変拍子に満ちた曲にジョン・アンダーソンの高い声とリック・ウエイクマンの変幻自在のキーボード、それに見事に絡む太いスティーブ・ハウのギター、スココン・スネア満載のこれまたキーが高いビル・ブラッフードのドラムと完璧に『YES』の世界だ。特に8曲目の『Order Of The Universe』が傑作で、この曲はYESの長い歴史の中でもかなり名曲に入ると思う(夜のニュース番組に使われていたりしている（●＾o＾●）)。

複雑系大好き（●＾o＾●）。

　1989年初夏にリリースされた元イエスメンバーの「イエス」と名乗りたくても名乗れないバンドの作品、なぜこのような冗談のようなバンド名になったのか、それは当時トレバーラビンの在籍する「９０１２５イエス」が存在していたからである。「ビッグジェネレーター」リリース後にジョンアンダーソンが脱退、そして本作をイエス名義でリリースしようとして、クリススクワイアが在籍する「９０１２５イエス」と対立、裁判で争うまでになり、結局ジョンは敗訴、悩んだ末にできたバンド名がアンダーソン、ブラフォード、ウエークマン、ハウだった。（バンド名は忘れたが、当時このバンド名を皮肉ったアルバムタイトルをつけていたバンドがいた。ウエークマンがウオークマンになっていた）
　内容は、「危機」を作ったメンバーが90年代の「危機」を作ろうとしたと思えば聞こえはいいが、僕のような80年代にプログレに目覚めた世代から見ると「ジョンの音楽性は流行から外れている」という考えに至る。ハウあたりもそのことに気づいていると思うのだが、悪いと思って言わなかったのかな？ブラフォードも「アースワークス少しだけ忘れて昔の曲をやってみるか」みたいな感覚だったのかも、リックも「昔のあの興奮を再び」みたいな感じだったのかもしれない。昔の往年の名曲を再びツアーで演奏するためには新作を出して注目されなければならないというジョンの考えによって、内容的にはジョンのソロのような作品に付加価値が加えられた作品といえるだろう。｢ブラザーオブマイン」はジェフダウンズも関わっており、なかなかの良作だと当時は思った。

　英国の誇るプログレ･バンドの大御所の、当時、元メンバーが一堂に会して制作された、’８９年発表の、この名義唯一の作品。
　T.LEVIN、G.DOWNES、M.BACON、VANGELIS等のプログレ･ファンには馴染み深い、豪華な面子もゲスト参加しているが、実際は、それぞれのメンバーのソロ作品としての素材を持ち寄って拵えた、というのが真相のようだ。
　そんな一見安易な手法なのにもかかわらず、８０年代時のYESは勿論、７０年代のYESの名作群とも肩を並べるほど完成度は極めて高い。3610といった大作は、特に聴き応えがある。
　おそらく、急に持ち上がったであろうこのプロジェクトに、それを過剰に意識せず、自由な発想によって作られた素材を、冷静にYESらしさに当てはめていけたからではないかと察する。
　いずれにせよ、本作の発起人でプロデュースもしている、J.ANDERSONのYESらしさを求める執念が、最も大きい原動力となっているのは間違いない。
　反面、そのJ.ANDERSONのソロ作らしさ全開の、エスニック調の7は、作品中ミス･マッチで浮いているのは、力が入り過ぎたのか、自分自身の存在感を誇示したかったのか。
　それにしても、YESというのは不思議なグループで、バンドの状況が不安定になればなるほど傑作を生み出す。
　バンドが安定しているのか、単に活動休止中なのか分からない、大きな動きのない現在のバンドの状況を考えると、何とも寂しい。
