このアルバムは、いっろーんな有名なミュージシャンが参加
しているんですが・・
そんなことはさておき、なんというか・・・
甘くて、かっこよくて、これこそブラックのflavor！という
昔ながら？のsweetな、由緒正しいソウルミュージックの気持ちよさ
を味わえる（ような気がする)、貴重なアルバムです。
特に、Tamiaの、「You put a move on my heart」、
あと9曲目の「Do nothin' til you hear from me」が大好き。
まさに、SOUL MUSIC LOVER'S ONLYというかんじ。
とろけるような、音楽です。

曲のひとつひとつが、丁寧に作り込められていて深く味わいのあるメロディとエッジの効いたリズム感が素晴らしい。この時のクインシーのサウンドをベースから作っていたのは、ニールスチューベンス（Bass）と、ジョンロビンソン（DR）にジェリーヘイ（TP)だなという事がとっても良く分かるサウンド。こんなに大所帯なのにアルバム全体を通して、すっきりとシンプルに気持ちよくそして楽しく、疲れずに聴けるのは彼らのおかげかな。いいですね！　どの曲も大好きですが、一等賞は、"STOMP"のハービーハンコックのいかにも彼らしい鋭いシンセソロ！　また、"DO NOTHIN' TILL YOU HEAR FROM ME"のフィルコリンズのハートのある歌が気に入ってます。他の曲では、タミアの歌も良いですね。また、やっぱりグロリアエステファンは素晴らしくキュートな歌を披露！　あとブランディがいいですね。彼女の鼻歌みたいな歌い方が気持ちよいです。故レイチャールズはチェックですね。レイチャールズ丸出しで、素晴らしいの一言！

流石！としか言いようの無い作品、彼の人脈の深さ、音楽センス、キャスティング、など多彩なジャンルの曲を最高の演出で聴かせてくれて、かつて歴史に残る「ウィ・アー・ザ・ワールド」の監督をしただけのことはあり、円熟の境地、貫禄のなせる技ではないかと思います。中でもフィル・コリンズを起用したジャズナンバー、グロリア・エステファンのＲ＆Ｂナンバー、ブランディーが歌うマイケルのヒット曲のリメイクは最高でした。この作品はアメリカで購入し聴きましたが、いろんな人種がコラボレイトしている本場で聞くクインシーはしみじみ聴けます。ウィ・アー・ザ・ワールド、人類みな兄弟です。音楽に理論も理屈も言葉も関係ありません、フロム・ザ・ハートです。
