ファースト・アルバムから、この時期までのブルース・ナンバーを集めたコンピ盤です。80年代のベスト盤「グレイテスト・ヒッツ」とは一味違い、こちらは小音量でも落ち着いて聴ける名盤。まるでモダン・ブルースのアルバムでも聴いているかのような気分にもさせてくれます。

「Antenna」と同年にリリースされた、初期からのブルース色の強いｚｚtop流ロックをひとまとめにした企画物ベストアルバム。８０年代の華やかなヒット曲はありませんが彼らの魅力を存分に味わえる至宝の１枚。しかしビリー・ギボンズのブルースギターはやはり美味しすぎます。

このアルバムは、タイトルどうりBluesです。従来のロック＆ブル-スではなく、ZZ-TOPならではのカッコイイ！ブル-スを聴かせてくれる1枚です。
ブル-ス好きな方はもちろん、まだブル-スを聞いた事の無い方にもオススメ
です。
