1994年に発表されたこのアルバムは、モリッシーを代表するアルバムです。このアルバムには人間の持つ様々な感情を聴くことができます。悲しみ、憎しみ、温かみを、モリッシーの歌詞と声が包み込み、このアルバムを素晴らしいものへと引き立たせています。それは、決して他のアーティストには真似することが出来ない、唯一無二のものにしているのです。このアルバムでも1、2を争う出来の、"Why Don't You Find for Yourself"を聴くだけでそれを感じることが出来ると思います。

"Now My Heart is Full"から"Speedway"まで、心を和ませるスローな曲、甘く切ないモリッシーの声が響く可憐な曲、心を突き動かす激しい曲が満遍なく収録されています。そしてこのアルバムを一通り聴き終わった後に、全身を興奮が包むはずです。それほどこのアルバムは素晴らしい内容であり、90年代の名盤と呼ばれる数少ないアルバムの1枚として認識するべきなのです。
