前作で垣間見せたあらゆるジャンルへの傾倒をはっきりさせた作品。
映画にも使われた"Kiss from a rose"や"Don't cry"のように、全体的に落ち着いた曲が多く、躍動よりも癒しに近い印象を与えます。個人的に気に入っているのは"Prayer for the dying"。ミディアムテンポに不思議なコードワークがマッチして心地よいです。
SEALの才能をTrever Hornが引き出し、クラブ系・R&B・ジャズ・クラシック
ロック、すべてを越えた"SEAL"というジャンルがここに確立されたと言っても過言ではないはずです。

Bring It Onが流れ出すと、今でも
初めて聴いた時と同じ、それ以上の感動に出会います。
この作品は絶対に手放せません。

このCDに収録されている、【Kiss From A Rose】は、ﾊﾞｯﾄﾏﾝ･ﾌｫｰｴｳﾞｧｰの挿入歌で使われていた曲で、すごく感じのいい、聴いていて不思議な気分になる曲です。
ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄの写真(?)はちょっとコワいけど…
中身は全体的に癒し系の曲ばかりで、Goodです。
わたしも初めは、【Kiss From A Rose】だけが目的で購入したんですけど、全てお気に入りですよ(^^)
