懐かしいこの名曲（4曲目、Nothing〜）を、やっと探し出せました。
この歌は、名曲だけに多くの別の人によってカバーされていて、それがじゃまして探すのに苦労しました。
でも、これを聞いた瞬間、昔の懐かしい思いを思い出します。特に、サビの部分、I love you〜♪が伝わってきますね。全く他のとは比較になりません。

ベンソンのヴォーカルは本当に最高です！！
５曲目の「Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You」は特に凄いです！見事な歌唱力で彼の世界に引き込まれます。「ラブライツ３」にも収録されています。それで興味を持った方も１枚どうぞ！！
本当にこれは「買い」の一語に尽きます！

　後にJay GraydonとPlanet3を結成するCliff Magness参加で、80年代中盤の杉山清貴（つうか林哲司か）の大ヒット曲に似てるけど違う１曲目や、AORの才人、Randy Goodrum参加のアルバムタイトル曲は今聞くと「時代」を感じさせるんですが、なんといってもこのアルバムのキラーチューンは、Richard Marx迄バッキングボーカルで参加している４曲目の"Nothin' Gonna Change My Love For Me"と、最後のRoberta Flackとデュエット、"You Are The Love Of My Life"で決まりです。にしてもあぁなんてあったかい気持ちになれる曲なんだろう・・・。この２曲のバラッドは本当にエバーグリーンで今聞いてもなんら遜色なく聞けるし、このわかり易いメロディは後世に残るんじゃないかと思える程耳にこびり付いたら離れません。
　ただ、このアルバムが通して聞くとAOR然としていないのは、2曲目のRchard TeeとMarcusのコンビが醸し出すメロウなスローチューンなんだけどFunkな感覚や、Cecil Womackがギターとバッキングボーカルで参加した"New Day"の様なR&B様式に則った佳曲があるからに他なりません。
　アルバムが出た当時はR&Bより、もっと洗練されて軽いアレンジ、歌い方のAORがもてはやされていた時代なので、ドロ臭いR&BやFunkよりもそっちの路線を行ったんでしょうネ。ある意味正しい。
　ただ、その中でも１曲しか無いモロフュージョンな"Stand Up"が、Neil Larsen丸出しでこれも結構好きです。突然転調シンコペ＆マイナ〜。
　最後に。このアルバムの影の主役は、めっちゃくちゃセンスの良いカッティングと単音ピッキングやってるPaul Jackson.jrさんですヨ。
