クラウス・オガーマンのアレンジ。｢The composer of Desafinado,plays｣｢Urubu｣そしてあの超名盤｢Wave｣などでもアレンジを担当した人です。　　　ジョビン自身｢オガーマンとの仕事は最高級だ！｣　と語っているとおり、彼のアレンジは、ジョビンの美しいメロディーを繊細かつドラマティックに仕上げています。このCDは全曲オーケストラアレンジで、ほとんどの曲にジョビンのヴォーカルが入っています。
9Voce vai verでは夫人・アナのヴォーカルが楽しそうです。
ジョビン決定盤。

ブラジルの豊かな大地。深い森に降り注ぐ雨。鳥や動物たちのいな鳴く声。ああ、今日も陽は昇り、落ちてゆく。人の営みも、そのごく一部にすぎない。−　そんな失われゆく地球（テラ）へのジョビンの想い、憂いを、名匠オガーマンの弦（オーケストレイション）が豊穣に謳い上げている。なんと大人の鑑賞に相応しい、美しいアルバムだろうか。深く癒されるのである。　　（補記）本アルバムは２００１年にリマスター盤が出ていますので、ご購入はそちらをお薦めします。
