The Detail Goes Down to the Warner Brothers Inner Sleeve (Which Typically Solicited Compilations of Other Label Artists) and the Version of the Label Used on the Original Album. This Package also Includes Full Lyrics (In English as Well as Japanese).

それを言っちゃあおしまいよ的発言になっちゃいますが、トムとパットのヴォーカルにトリプルギターのドライビングロックサウンドが好きなファンには、「キツイ」アルバムと評されても仕方ないサウンドになってます。ただ、内容まで「キツイ」かといえばそんなことはない。マイケルのブルーアイドソウルサウンドが好きな方にはもちろん、ＡＯＲアルバムとして考えれば秀逸です。中心人物が変わったことで、その音までが劇的に変化したバンドですから、「それぞれが別のバンド」くらいに割り切って考えてみては？

McDonaldが加入して，Tomが引っ込んでしまった作品。
McDonaldの"Takin' It To The Streets"を評価するむきも多いのだが，
Patが書いている"Wheels Of Fortne"，"Rio"，"Carry Me Away"の方が
親しめる。寧ろDoobiesを生かしているのはこっちの曲ではないだろう
か。ここでも，Tiran Porterの"For Someone Special"が独特のムード
を醸し出している。彼の作品は少ないのだが，これもDoobiesの魅力の
一つであると私は思う。
当時初めてレコードに針を落として，前作との音の違いに驚いたのは事
実である。
しかし，Stampedeで頂点に達してしまったDoobiesが，新たな音作りを
模索せざるを得なかったのは仕方ないことだろうし，その意味で新たに
加入したMcDonaldの才能があったからこそ，Doobiesが存続できたとも
言える。
それにしても，結成以来ずっとDoobiesを支え，多彩な才能を発揮する
Patに，私は尊敬の念をおぼえる。

トムのドゥービーしか認めない人には必要のないアルバム？かもしれませんが、
それではドゥービー・ブラザーズの歴史の半分しか楽しんでいないことになります。
内容的には捨て曲なしの名盤ですから。

ひとつ不満があるとしたらギターの音色かな。
空気感が感じられないライン録音っぽいクリアすぎる音がちょっと気になります。
