5.0 out of 5 stars 個人的にはソロのBEST, 2004/3/2
このＣＤの後に３作(?)リリースしていますが、それらは直ぐに手元から無くなってしまい、これだけが残っており今でも時々、聞いています(ただし国内盤です)。JeffBeckがGuestであることも理由ですが、他の３作品には無いSpeed感があり、何度聞いても快感です。また、今では入手困難な映像作品「RunningOutOfLuck」との相乗効果で一層、手放せない作品になっています（映像は過去に深夜放送を録画し今ではＤＶＤにしています）。JeffBeckは、その後のアルバム(PrimitiveCoolだったかな?)に全曲登場していますが存在感は無いに等しいです。貪欲に挑戦し、かつ、Stonesとはほんのちょっとだが一線を画す作品として、個人的にはソロのBESTです。

4.0 out of 5 stars ミックのソロ第一弾, 2002/8/20
彼のような大物の場合、どうしてもソロ作品はストーンズの作品（しかも名盤といわれるもの）と比較されてしまい、ロック色が強くストーンズに似ていたりすると評価され、そうでないと酷評される傾向があるように思われます。このソロ第一作目もあまりにポップであったり、当時流行の大物プロデューサーを起用したりした為、いわゆる音楽関係者からはいい評価をされていなかったように記憶しています。しかし、ここで聴かれるミックは溌剌としていて曲も良く、ポップな土俵でも十分いけることを証明しています。ミックのソロ作品では一番いいと思うのですが・・。これ位変わらなきゃソロなんて意味ありませんよね。特に最近はストーンズの作品とミックのソロの境界があいまいですし。できればこの頃サントラに発表したアルバム未収録曲やビデオ用にリミックスした曲をボーナストラックにしてリマスターして欲しいな。

ミックテイラーがストーンズを脱退した時、ジェフベックにも新ギタリストとして白羽の矢がたったらしい。しかし、ジェフは「俺は３コードを何時間もかきならすなんて退屈だ」みたいな理由で拒否したらしい。どのくらい本気でストーンズがジェフをほしがったのか定かではないが、そういう経緯を聞いてこのアルバムを聴くとなかなか感慨深い（？）もんである。ロンリー・アット・ザ・トップやジャスト・アナザー・ナイトのジェフのソロはさすがである。全曲参加はしてないが、それだけでも聴く価値はある。曲もそこそこいいし。もちろんミックのボーカルもいけてます。が、やはりなかなかよい、というのが妥当なところでは？
