　メガ・ヒットアルバム「NO JACKET REQUIRED」からのヒット曲の12インチシングル集。フィル・コリンズはこのアルバムで、ジェネシスのフィル・コリンズから、シンガーとしてのフィル・コリンズと変身したのでした。でも、売れ線だけど曲がいいです。超定番バラード「ワン・モア・ナイト」とか、昂揚感ある「テイク・ミー・ホーム」など、実にけれん味のない、でも耳に残る曲ばかりで、また、私的には12インチヴァージョンのほうが断然各曲がいいような気がします。

　このＣＤははじめレコードで発売されて、自分が高校生当時、愛聴盤でした。北海道は帯広市のとある下宿で、冬、寒い部屋でレコードを聞きながら「このキューピーみたいなオヤジ、いい曲つくるよな..。」と思ったことがあります。それから月日は経ち、自分がキューピーとまではならなくても、フィル・コリンズには足元にも及ばないオヤジになってしまいましたとさ。（笑＆泣）

”たまご親父”ことフィル・コリンズの「No Jacket Required」からシングルカットされた１２インチコレクションです。「Take Me Home」の１２Ｖｅｒ．は、今聞いても良いです。
