オリジナルメンバーでのベストライブ。まだ彼岸花のような髪型で、速弾きぐせのついたGeorge Lynch の火のつくようなギターが全曲 (除く14.かも･･･)通じて堪能できる一枚。Don Dokken (Vo.)のあまりにクドく、こぶしのきいた歌いまわしも「これぞDokken」を感じさせ、また13.In My Dreamsでの全員でのハモりも泣かせる。現在のReb Beach 以後のDokken しか聞いてないひとは必聴/必達の一枚。

#2.Tooth and Nailのイントロで鳥肌が立ったのは自分だけではないはず。 George Lynchの天才的なライブでのギターアレンジを確かめるべく、 是非、通常盤と聴き比べてみることを強くおすすめしたい。 ライブでも相変わらずの声量のDon Dokkenのヴォーカルにも頭が下がる。

ライブ盤ってのは商品化するのにどうしても必要悪的にレコーディング内容に手を加えることになる。このライブ録音したNHKホールの一員だった私的には演奏曲順の違い、既に解散が決定していた公演だったと知りながら見つめ・聴いていたのできっちり製品化になってしまったなと当時レコードを聴きながら思ったものだった。時は経過し、バンドもエレクトラ時代にはとうとう戻れない状況の現在、懐かしくもこのころが（それが必要悪的なものであっても）危険極まりない（良い意味で）衝突感があったと思う。余談でアートワークはこちらの方に軍配が上がるが２枚組のコンプリート盤の方をオススメします。
