「恋に落ちた時」は、１９５２年の映画「零号作戦」の主題曲。
「スカイラーク」は、１９４１年に出たグレン・ミラー楽団のヒット曲。
「私の心に入らなかったわ」は、１９４０年のミュージカル「高く、もっと高く」で唄われる曲。
「私にとって、、」は、１９２９年に出た曲。
「貴方の恋人が行ってしまったら」は、１９３１年の作品。
「アイム・ア・フール・トゥ・ウォント・ユー」は、１９５１年にフランク・シナトラが初録音した曲。
「貴方は、私を利用して、、」は、１９２８年にミュージカル「プレゼント・アームズ」で唄われ、その後、映画「スター誕生」でも唄われた曲。
「ソフィスティケーティド・レディ」は１９３３年に作曲された曲。
「お友達になれないの？」は１９２９年の作品。ミュージカル「リトル・ショウ」で唄われている。
「マイ・オールド・フレーム」１９３４年のミュージカル映画「ベル・オブ・ザ・ナインティーズ」の主題歌。
「また恋に落ちたの」は、１９３０年の映画「嘆きの天使」で唄われる曲。
「ラッシュ・ライフ」は、１９３８年の作品だが１９４９年になって大ヒットした曲だ。
殆んど、ほぼ半世紀前の曲を、リンダは自分のモノにして唄いこなしている。例えば「また恋に落ちたの」を、マレーネ・ディートリィヒの映画でのオリジナルや、マレーネ・ディートリィヒの戦後の録音などと聴き比べると、リンダの歌唱力の上手さを思わずにはいられない。
アルバム「Ｗｈａｔ’ｓ　Ｎｅｗ」は、その題名に恥じないアルバムだったが、「ラッシュ・ライフ」も、その題名に恥じない豪華で豊かなアルバムになっている。
オススメです。
(念の為に「ラッシュ・ライフ」の意味を書いて置きたい。ラッシュ・アワーに身を晒して日を送り、日を重ねる暮らしや生活の事ではない。豊かな暮らしとか、リッチな暮らしとかの意味である。豪華な暮らし、豪華な生活の事である。甘い生活と言う位に訳しても良いのかもしれない。以上、念の為。）

うれしい驚きだったＷｈａｔ’ｓ　Ｎｅｗに続き、さらに渋くなったスタンダード集の第２弾。

Ｗｈａｔ’ｓ　Ｎｅｗで多少残っていたぎこちなさが完全に消えて、さらに進化したリンダのヴォーカルが楽しめます。

深まる秋を感じるならやっぱりこれね。リンダのセクシーな声は成熟しててかなりシック。職場の人間関係でストレスてんこもり状態のＯＬのわたしにはぴったし。なんだか明日会社休んで温泉いっちゃおーかな。
そんなゆったりモードなお局さんにわたしはなりたい。リンダ、やっぱあなたの勝ちねっ。　　　　　１０点中９点
