ビンスのエモーショナルなボーカルを存分に活かし、
タイトなリズムと解りやすいリフで包み込んだ楽曲
の数々。ニッキーの心地よいベース。
　ロックンロールの結晶です。
　ビンスやトミーが若干二十歳だったことが不思議。
　ミックのギターは既に匠の域に達し、ニッキーの
ベースは、テクニシャンのオンパレード。(^O^)
メリーゴーランドの歌声、トゥファストフォーラブ
のメロディー。どれをとっても素晴らしい。
爆音で聞こうが、ミニマムで聞こうが心地よさ変わ
らず。ライブワイヤーのイントロからイッキにラス
トまでとっても素敵な曲ばかり。ニッキーは天才。
ミックも最高。ＲＯＣＫを聞いてきて、こんな素敵
なＢＡＮＤに巡り会い幸せです。感謝。m(_ _)m

ロック・ファンを自称するのであれば、Motley Crueを好きと言ってほしい。
90年代前半に勃発したグランジ／オルタナティヴ・ムーブメントの頃、当時のブームの渦中にいたバンド達から「クールじゃない時代遅れのグラム・メタル・バンド」と言われていたから聴かないというのであれば、それは勿体ない話だ。
確かに80年代のグラム・メタル（LAメタル）ブームの頃にレコード会社により青田買いされたバンドの中には酷いバンドもいた。
でも、それは、どんなブームでも同じであり、そんなバンドとMotleyを一緒にされては困る。
このアルバムに収められている曲は、どれもイミテーション・ジュエリーやフェイク・ファーの様に、妖しくギラギラと光り輝いている。
当時、学校や仕事で辛いことがあった人も、このレコードを聴いている時だけは、全てを忘れて楽しむことができたはずだ。
このバンドは典型的なグラム・メタル・バンドのように思われているが、実は、当時のグラム・メタル・バンドとしては異色の存在だ。
積極的に作詞／作曲をしないシンガーVince Neil、トリッキーなプレイをしないギタリストMick Mars、シンガーやギタリストよりも存在感や人気があるドラマーTommy Lee、バンドのブレインであり稀代のソングライターでもあるベーシストNikki Sixx。
この妙なバランスがMotleyを当時のシーンで唯一無比の存在にしていたことは間違いない。

インディーズでリリースしたアルバムを曲数ヴォーカルを変えてメジャーでリリースしたアルバムだったと思います。印象はヘタですが邦題のイメージがピッタリくる激情のようなものを感じます。ロックはウマイ、ヘタではないといいますが、このアルバムはそのとうりで、１枚目のアルバムでしか出せない味があります。日本では演奏がウマイ音もキレイ聞きやすいなどでアルバムの製作が行われるために結果として、このような雰囲気が出せない事が多いのでは国の風土の差、メジャーでは売れる事が重要と考えられる日本では、こういったアルバムは作りにくいかも？
