建築の学生の頃に、武道館のライブコンサートを聞きに行きました。青年期の感受性豊かな時代にふれた音楽。ジャンルにこだわらずに、今も、自分の感性に息づいています。ムーディズの音楽はほとんどＬＰ時代より持っています。そのなかでも好きな曲はＮＥＷ　ＨＯＲＲＩＺＯＮ。音楽があふれている時代。このようなズシリとくる曲、詩は少ない。今日も、寝る前の曲の一つです。この曲だけでもお買い得。学生であれば詩から英語を学んでも良いと思いますね。

異論はありません。コンセプトもしっかりしており、前作にあったような良い意味での甘さが削ぎ落とされています。全体を通している暗さ、重々しさが気になるがアルバムとしても完成度が高い。詩の内容も、社会、世界の内容を深く掘り下げたものが多く、作品の質の高さ、それ故に息苦しさを感じ、最後の曲でようやく解放されるという感じです。自らの事を単なるロックンロール・シンガーと全員で歌いあげる事により初めて視界が開ける感じです。このバンドの７枚目のアルバム Seventh Sojournと名づけられ、バンドとしても長期の休みに入っていく前の最高傑作です。今の閉塞感あふれる時代と同じ感じを強く受けるものです。しかしながら、うっすらと希望のあかりがかすかにほのかに見えるます。星は当然の５つです。

どうしてもNew Horizonが聞きたくなって中古で買ってしまいました。
特にこのバンドが好きという程でも無いのですが、この一曲は体が必要とします。
曲は皆さんの言うような「コーラス・プログレ・癒し」です。

YESのTime and Word
KING CRIMSONのIsland
（アルバム名でなくて曲名です。）
なんかも私には似たようなオーラを発しています。
何というか、諦めと悲しみと悟りと強さが同時に感じられる
私は音楽でないと得られない特別な状態を体験します。

なんか大げさになってしまいましたが、参考になればと思い急に書いてしまいました・・・
